What will you do?

Join the artist for a hands-on drawing workshop inspired by nature. You will collect natural objects from the garden, learn how to use drawing materials, and take part in a series of simple observation and drawing exercises. No drawing experience is needed.

How will the day be structured?

  • 10:00-13:00: Introduction to the materials and drawing techniques, followed by a series of short observation and drawing exercises.
  • 13:00-14:00: Lunch break.
  • 14:00-17:00: Longer drawing sessions, allowing participants to explore observation and creativity in greater depth.

Throughout the day, the artist will guide participants through exercises designed to sharpen observation skills, encourage mindfulness, and help build confidence in drawing.

What is the goal?

The workshop encourages you to slow down, look closely, and discover new ways of seeing. Through drawing and observation, you'll develop greater awareness of your surroundings and a deeper connection with nature.

How does it connect to the artwork?

The workshop is inspired by the artist's installation Care as a Fundamental Right, which explores themes of care, growth, nature, and time. By observing and drawing natural objects, participants engage with the same ideas that are at the heart of the artwork.
