PARK Sessions

Let yourself be carried away by new music created at Park Abbey. Three summer Thursday evenings filled with unique concerts in the Abbot’s Garden. On the program: artists who composed original music for the new CD/vinyl The Sound of the Abbey. A beautiful mix of tradition and innovation—and the perfect warm-up for Park Festival on July 5, 2026.

During this first PARK Session, Sara Salvérius and Jean-Philippe Poncin bring personal stories to life without words, using accordion and (bass) clarinet. This is followed by a poetic performance in which flamenco, jazz, and Brazilian influences merge into an emotional tribute to Lorca.

The second PARK Session opens with Kabál, an ensemble combining music from the Low Countries with original compositions, ranging from serene to energetic. Next, Troissoeur, together with guitarist Pieter Thys, presents their signature electro-acoustic sound blending folk and experimentation. With their recent work and the programme Vinistan, they take the audience into a unique musical universe.

The evening starts with the trio Charneux-Leleux-Puma, presenting original compositions in Cinquième Saison, where melody, rhythm, and improvisation reinforce one another. Naragonia Quartet follows with their characteristic mix of listening and dance music within contemporary folk, offering a warm and captivating finale.
