Every first Sunday of the month, the mill at Park Abbey is in operation. Master miller Johan Boulanger grinds local grain from the abbey’s partner BoerEnCompanie into flour, which you can buy on site.

The mill is a centuries-old symbol of craftsmanship and craft. With the restoration and resumption of the water mill, an important tradition that was present here in the abbey domain from the Middle Ages is being revived.
How the miller grinds determines the quality of the flour. The milling result is a combination of everything that nature has given: sunlight to the grain, and water power to the mill. Only the true craftsman can find the perfect balance between these elements.
