Religious Heritage Fund
The Religious Heritage Fund collects money for the restoration, conservation and making accessible of movable and immovable religious heritage in Flanders and Brussels. The fund currently focusses on the development of the heritage site Park Abbey and PARCUM.
How are donations spent?
- The Religious Heritage Fund primarily supports the restoration of Park Abbey and the restoration and/or conservation of the abbey's precious artistic and cultural heritage.
- Works of art, artefacts and collections may be donated to the fund or purchased by the fund for display in PARCUM. The fund may also loan these items to religious heritage organisations in Flanders, Belgium and abroad.
- All initiatives that contribute to the sustainable, future-oriented management of the abbey site and respect its cultural and religious role can be supported by the fund.
